NASCAR racer Dale Earnhardt Jr. discuss about his incident, two weeks a go at the Daytona 500, when him and Brain Vickers got into a crash causing a 10 car pile up.Earnhardt and Vickers were both a lap down and Earnhardt was going to pass him but Vickers held his spot, pushing Earnhardt off the track. Earnhardt had no opinion but to get back of the track, clipping Vickers and shooting him across the track which threw him to 10 other cars. After the race Vickers responded that Earnhardt was a idot, Earnhardt said that the crash was unfortuneate for everyone except Vickers, saying that he should have let him back on the track. Fans have been ranting all week that Earnhardt should have been fined but wasn't based on his popularity. Later at California Earnhardt called Vickers saying that he was sorry and the crash has absoultely intentional.
My response to this is that I don't think that Earnhardt should have been fined for the crash because it was unintentional and miss judged the space between him and Vickers by a few inches.I also belive that if there was a fine pending that he wouldn't be because of his popularity, the most popular racer in NASCAR.
